Upgrading your old painting

                                            

         

 Refresh an old painting by adding ephemera such as newspaper or magazines clippings. In this painting I decided to use images of Latoya Hobbs' prints.

 I started this portrait of Latoya Hobbs years ago during  Little Rock 's week long art festival, ARTweek. As I painted her. she spoke about  impending new adventure as a graduate student at Purdue University. She has now graduated and is doing wonderful work.
